by Los on May.18, 2009, under Faith, Vegan, live music
The new mewithoutYou album “it’s all crazy! it’s all false! it’s all a dream! it’s alright” drops tomorrow. Ive been waiting for this for so long. I really cant say any band has litterally changed my life as this one has. Men like David, after the very heart of G-d. Check out some music on www.myspace.com/mewithoutyou
Earth Crisis

So lastnight I found out Earth Crisis was playing, thank G-d I found out when i did, they were so good! I love how there was nothing but older kids there. Felt like highschool all over again with all the familiar faces. Force of change played their last show and i was lucky enough to catch the last few songs. Reign Supreme played, which was ironic because I was moshing in my car to them on my way work earlier that day. Lots of good friends, lots of straight edge and vegan pride. Good times, till my crap was missing… seriously… Karma will get you… Email me if you have any info… Gotta stay posi.. heres some pix:
VEGAN TATTOOING!
by Los on May.14, 2009, under Tattooing, Vegan
So after months of experimenting and research, all my tattooing is finally 100% vegan. The only thing that was holding me back was the ointment during the process.
Typically A & D is used, but most have lanolin alcohol, (yes like sheep’s wool), and it has very high amounts of petroleum (which is a depleting resource and shouldn’t belong in the skin). The process of making petroleum also consists of a vacuum filtration of the still substance through bone char.
So after experimenting with shea butters, coconut butters and other solutions, which liquefied from a solid form once my body heat through the glove made contact, or when placed on the clients skin, made it nearly impossible to work with and quite messy. Luckily, i was sent a sample of “After Inked.” A vegan, supplement for use during tattooing, healing, and post healing as a moisturizer. Edible, and in a biodegradable package. Brilliant. So tattooing is finally 100% Vegan for me, from soaps, to inks, to ointment and aftercare. Click on “VEGANISM” to read more about how and why my tattooing is vegan.
